Someone designed that door handle
Everyday objects are full of small lessons about making things easier for people.

The café door has a large handle and a sign that says PUSH. I pull it every time.
It is easy to call that user error. It is more interesting to notice that the shape suggests one action while the sign asks for another.
I have started collecting tiny examples of thoughtful design: a readable timetable, a label exactly where you need it, a form that asks the easy question first.
Convenience is attention someone has already spent on your behalf.
Before adding a feature, I try to picture the moment someone will use it. Are they tired? In a hurry? Seeing it for the first time? That picture usually changes what I build.
