The best app might be the one you delete
A small experiment in making my digital life quieter, one notification at a time.

I counted the tools I use to stay organised. Then I counted the time I spend organising those tools. The second number was uncomfortable.
So this week I tried something ordinary: one calendar, one task list, one place for notes. Everything else had to explain what problem it was actually solving.
A good tool gives you your attention back.
The useful changes were boring. A naming rule for files. A shared folder. Fewer alerts. None of them needed a subscription.
Before adding something new, I now ask: which repeated inconvenience does this remove? If I cannot explain it in a sentence, I wait.
