Not every small business needs to get bigger
A note from a workshop that decided to stay a workshop.

My first three orders came from friends. My first useful business document was not a pitch deck. It was a list of how long each order actually took.
When I counted my own hours, the busy weeks looked different. More orders were not automatically better weeks.
What changed
- Fewer options, explained more clearly.
- Realistic delivery times.
- An actual end to the working day.
For me, a good workshop means familiar customers, work I care about, and a life outside it. Someone else will choose another scale.
Growth is a choice, not a compulsory staircase.
This is personal experience, not financial advice. But the question is useful: what kind of life should your work support?
