Keep a notebook you are allowed to ruin
A tiny creative practice for people who do not think of themselves as creative.

I bought an inexpensive notebook and immediately drew a bad line across the first page. After that, it was easier to begin.
The rule is simple: nothing in this book has to be good. It can be a colour I noticed, a phrase I overheard, half an idea, or an empty page.
This week I looked for one shade of green on my walk home. The week before, I collected interesting shapes from receipts and packaging.
Not every act of creativity needs to become a finished piece.
I do not post every page. Having a place without an audience has made me want to make things again.
One sheet of paper and ten minutes are enough to start.
